We are seeking a Field Applications Scientist to provide technical support and training for our analytical and scientific solutions. In this role, you'll:

• Collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver demonstrations, applications support, and training that enables research and innovation.
• Serve as a scientific advisor, helping customers optimize their workflows and maximize the value of their investments.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales technical expertise across multiple technology platforms.
• Conduct product demonstrations, develop new applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and build relationships with customers.
• Work with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, R&D, and product management to ensure customer success and drive business growth through technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with LC-MS instrumentation and associated analytical workflows like Intact, Peptide mapping for large molecules, Oligonucleotides, GLP's.
• Experience developing, troubleshooting and optimising analytical methods.
• Strong scientific problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Requirements

• Experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific mass spectrometry platforms and software.
• Experience in one or more of the following application areas listed in Technical Expertise.
• Experience delivering structured training, scientific presentations and technical workshops.
• Experience supporting customers in regulated laboratory environments.
• Stay current with emerging scientific trends, technologies and competitive developments.
• Generate and share technical knowledge, application insights and best practices with customers and internal teams.
