Role Description

Up to 50% travel may be required for this position.

The Direct Marketing Group (DMG) Business Unit is creating an Application and Process Support Team consisting of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). The Application and Process Support Team is responsible for managing the standardization and migration from existing legacy Management Information Systems (MIS) solutions to Enterprise MIS solutions.

SMEs will support the functional areas of:

• Finance
• Customer Service
• Estimating
• Planning
• Purchasing
• Scheduling
• Shop Floor Data Collection
• Shipping/Receiving

Key areas of focus as they relate to DMG’s Enterprise MIS solutions include:

• Business Assessment
• Process Assessment
• Process GAP Assessment
• Functional Requirements Gathering
• Solution Testing & Implementation
• Solution Training
• Training Effectiveness Assessment
• Process Compliance Auditing
• Solution Compliance Auditing

Additional responsibilities include:

• Collaborating on material design and development, recommending changes based on actual experience.
• Providing technical support for web-based and alternative delivery methods.
• Identifying problems, trends, and performance gaps in partnership with the Business Unit.
• May serve as Project Manager for specific programs, communicating with key operational stakeholders.
• Applying standard evaluation methodologies for measuring training effectiveness.
• Preparing, copying, and distributing participant materials.
• Consulting with business units to define training needs and make recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in a Print Manufacturing or closely related environment.
• Subject matter expertise in one of the key functional areas requiring SME support.
• Prior systems implementation experience is preferred.
• Training and documentation experience is required.
• Experience writing technical and functional specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Results-driven, execution-focused professional who can work independently.
• Experience in change control management and managing complex projects.
