[Hiring] Application Analyst I - Epic OpTime/Anesthesia @Nordic Healthcare Group (NHG)

Role Description

The Application Analyst I provides frontline support for clinical and business applications within the Managed Services division of Nordic Global. This role is ideal for recent entrants to the healthcare IT industry who have gained applications certifications or preliminary experience. The Application Analyst is responsible for:

• Responding to application support requests and incidents within defined SLAs, ensuring excellent customer service and communication.
• Managing application and team documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and relevancy.
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with software vendors to ensure high-level support.
• Assisting in planning and executing application upgrades and security patches.
• Participating in smaller analyst-led projects, learning basic project management tasks such as scheduling meetings and taking meeting minutes.
• Learning clinically integrated hospital and physician office workflows (both clinical and business).
• Complying with all written team policies and procedures.
• Learning and leveraging existing details of application documentation to provide effective and informed application support.
• Understanding the entire application lifecycle to include implementations, upgrades, and eventual decommissioning and data archiving.
• Advancing application knowledge and understanding from mentor/lead during first 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Sciences, or a related field (relevant education and/or 6+ years’ industry experience).
• 3+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent IT application analyst position with degree requirement.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Some roles may require participation in an on-call rotation to provide 24x7 support for critical applications, ensuring continuous and reliable service availability.
