Role Description

We are looking for an Amazon Marketplace Manager to take ownership of the account’s daily operational and technical management.

  • Keep listings and the catalog up to date.
  • Coordinate content updates.
  • Improve conversion.
  • Resolve technical issues with Amazon.
  • Monitor advertising performance.
  • Coordinate product launches.
  • Establish structured processes and reporting.

You will work closely with a PPC specialist, a designer, and a compliance specialist. You will have team support for new product launches, with an existing launch process already in place.

This role requires hands-on Seller Central experience, the ability to identify problems independently, propose solutions, and follow tasks through to completion.

We are considering only candidates who speak Russian or Ukrainian for day-to-day team communication.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Seller Central.
  • Experience working with Amazon US.
  • Experience independently managing listings and catalogs.
  • A solid understanding of Amazon catalog structure.
  • Experience creating and updating listings, variations, and A+ Content.
  • Ability to work with flat files.
  • Experience resolving technical issues through Seller Support.
  • Understanding of the factors that influence CTR and conversion.
  • Basic understanding of Amazon PPC.
  • Ability to analyze data and turn insights into specific actions.
  • Strong written English and intermediate spoken English for communicating with Amazon support.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize independently.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to follow tasks through to completion.

Requirements

  • Experience working on projects with 10 or more SKUs.
  • Experience with compliance-sensitive product categories.
  • Experience collaborating with compliance specialists.
  • Hands-on experience setting up Amazon PPC campaigns.
  • Practical experience in supply chain and inventory management.
  • Experience creating FBA shipments.
  • Experience communicating with suppliers, logistics providers, and 3PLs.
  • Experience with Helium 10, Pacvue, Data Dive, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.
  • Experience creating SOPs, checklists, and reporting systems.
  • Experience with Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, and Manage Your Experiments.
  • Understanding of Amazon business unit economics.

Responsibilities

  • Seller Central and catalog management
    • Create and update listings.
    • Manage titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend search terms, and product attributes.
    • Upload and update images, videos, A+ Content, Premium A+, and Brand Story.
    • Create and edit parent-child variations.
    • Work with flat files and bulk catalog updates.
    • Resolve suppressed and inactive listing issues, as well as stranded inventory issues.
    • Resolve issues with categories, browse nodes, attributes, and variations.
    • Ensure information displays correctly on product detail pages.
    • Work with Brand Registry and other Amazon tools.
  • Listing content and conversion
    • Conduct regular listing audits.
    • Analyze competitors, their positioning, content, reviews, and competitive advantages.
    • Prepare clear design briefs for images, infographics, and A+ Content.
    • Create and update written content.
    • Ensure content complies with Amazon requirements.
    • Analyze CTR, Unit Session Percentage, conversion, returns, reviews, and Voice of the Customer.
    • Develop hypotheses for improving listings.
    • Run and analyze A/B tests through Manage Your Experiments.
    • Ensure agreed changes are implemented.
  • Amazon support
    • Create and manage Seller Support cases and make support calls.
    • Prepare requests, supporting documents, and clear arguments.
    • Escalate unresolved issues.
    • Follow cases through to full resolution.
    • Resolve issues related to the catalog, content display, inbound inventory receiving, and lost inventory.
    • Maintain a knowledge base of cases and solutions for recurring issues.
  • New product launches
    • Maintain a launch checklist.
    • Create and prepare listings.
    • Coordinate copy, images, A+ Content, and other launch materials.
    • Assign tasks to the designer and other specialists.
    • Ensure products are ready to launch on Amazon.
    • Coordinate launches with the PPC specialist.
    • Oversee coupons, promotions, and other promotional tools.
    • Monitor post-launch results.
  • PPC coordination
    • Monitor overall advertising effectiveness.
    • Communicate regularly with the PPC specialist.
    • Analyze ACoS, TACoS, ROAS, CTR, CVR, spend, and sales.
    • Identify issues and assign tasks to the PPC specialist.
    • Track the implementation of agreed changes.
    • Assess advertising results alongside listing conversion, organic rankings, and inventory levels.
    • Contribute to promotion strategies for new and existing products.
  • Analytics and reporting
    • Prepare weekly account performance reports.
    • Monitor sales, traffic, conversion, advertising, and inventory levels.
    • Maintain a list of issues, risks, and priorities.
    • Maintain a task board for ongoing work.
    • Prepare recommendations for product development and growth.
    • Evaluate the results of implemented changes.
    • Each report should include conclusions, priorities, and specific recommendations for next steps.
  • Supply chain β€” an optional area of responsibility
    • Monitoring FBA inventory levels.
    • Calculating inventory requirements.
    • Planning orders and replenishments.
    • Managing reorder points and safety stock.
    • Creating FBA shipments and shipping plans.
    • Preparing shipment labels and instructions.
    • Communicating with suppliers, logistics providers, 3PLs, and prep centers.
    • Tracking production, dispatch, delivery, and inventory receiving.
    • Resolving receiving discrepancies.
    • Preventing stockouts and excess inventory.
