[Hiring] Alumni Experience Coordinator @InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Role Description

To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will support the execution of alumni experience initiatives in close partnership with the supervisor. This role ensures high-quality alumni experience implementation across audience segmented projects within InterVarsity including but not limited to events, communications, and engagement touchpoints.

This position is detail-oriented, proactive, and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining clear communication and follow-through. This role translates direction into well-executed plans, clear systems, and thoughtful alumni-facing materials and interactions.

Major Responsibilities

• Personal:
  • Be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ: growing in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every ethnicity and culture, and God's purposes in the world.
  • Maintain spiritual disciplines for personal and ministry growth.
  • Model wisdom and maturity in the balance of family, church, and ministry.
• Support Alumni Events:
  • Help ensure alumni-facing communication and experience reflect organizational excellence, warmth, and clarity.
  • Support event timelines, vendor coordination, and cross-team communication.
  • Maintain project plans, dashboards, databases, and records.
  • Serve at on-site events, offering a gracious and attentive presence that reflects the organization’s values as needed.
• Coordinate Alumni Experience Initiatives & Systems:
  • Partner with supervisor to develop and execute alumni strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other InterVarsity teams to create or execute an integrated alumni engagement strategy.
  • Participate in Alumni Relations special projects or groups as needed.
• Operational Support & Execution:
  • Maintain accurate records and list management using organizational platforms like Salesforce, RegFox, etc.
  • Prepare briefing materials, reports, and internal summaries of alumni experience initiatives as needed.
  • Prepare, collect, distribute, and organize alumni experience evaluation data as needed.
  • Gather and implement feedback as needed.
  • Identify and communicate workflow improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support timely execution of projects while upholding standards of excellence.
  • Adhere to InterVarsity’s program standard operating systems, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Annually affirm InterVarsity’s Statement of Faith.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in Development, Communications, Project Management, Donor Relations, or relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a diverse team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience of current Microsoft software applications.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• High relational intelligence and discretion.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to develop a ministry support team who will pray, support, and give financially.

Requirements

• Pay Range: $19.46 - $25.94 per hour.
