Role Description

Outlier needs your expertise as we work to improve AI models' ability to reason about Healthcare or Life Sciences!

You will:

  • Train AI models by crafting and answering questions related to Healthcare or Life Sciences
  • Evaluate and rank responses generated by AI systems
  • Use your domain expertise to assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of work experience in the industry, including work in Hospitals, Pharmaceutical Companies, Medical Device Manufacturers, Biotech Research, or Health Insurance
  • Ability to write engaging, accurate, and insightful content related to Healthcare or Life Sciences
  • Research and fact-checking abilities: attention to detail and commitment to presenting credible and reliable content
  • Strong storytelling and narrative skills and ability to craft captivating narratives
  • Demonstrate exceptional writing skills, with a focus on clarity, brevity, and engagement

Requirements

  • Professional writing experience as a researcher, journalist, technical writer, editor, or similar roles (Nice to Have)
  • Solid subject matter knowledge in other subfields of Healthcare or Life Sciences (Nice to Have)
  • Interest in AI and machine learning concepts (Nice to Have)

Benefits

  • Base Pay: up to $12.25- $45.00 per hour USD, depending on your level of expertise
  • This is a freelance position that is paid on a per-hour basis
