Role Description

As an Agent Oversight Analyst, you will be coordinating the agent oversight program at WUIB in alignment with other WU entities and Agents throughout New Zealand. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provides AML/CTF Compliance support to new and existing Agents of Western Union and its affiliates.
  • Identifies if agents have developed and implemented an effective AML/CTF Compliance program as they apply to Money Services Businesses.
  • Provides analysis on improving internal controls and AML Compliance programs for Agents.
  • Provides back office support to Agent Oversight processes.
  • Follows up on Agents who have certain areas of improvement identified in their AML/CTF Compliance programs by the GFO front office.
  • Assists with specific projects assigned by Management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Compliance field.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze, utilize industry standards, and employ sound judgment regarding the status of an agent's compliance program.
  • Excellent multi-tasking ability.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Work Shift: No specific office location; align with manager on in-person collaboration opportunities.
