[Hiring] Affiliate & Managed Services Organizations Manager @American Society of Plastic Surgeons

The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) is seeking an Affiliate and Managed Services Organizations Manager to support the success and growth of the organizations managed through ASPS. Reporting to the Staff Vice President of Business Development and Affiliate Relations, this individual will serve as a key partner to affiliate and managed services organizations, helping translate strategic priorities into effective operational plans and sustainable solutions.

In this role, you’ll:

• Collaborate across teams on complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen operations, optimize processes, and deepen partner engagement.
• Support client-facing activities and develop implementation strategies.
• Use data and financial insights to inform decisions.
• Cultivate strong relationships with organizational leaders and stakeholders.
• Establish best-in-class practices that support the unique strategic and operational goals of each organization.
• Lead and develop up to two direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience in a nonprofit, member-driven organization.
• Experience working within a professional society, association, or similar membership organization.
• Demonstrated success leading projects and managing client-facing relationships.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Asana is a plus.
• Experience with graphic design and layout.
• A client-focused mindset.

Requirements

• Serve as a key point of contact and Executive Director for assigned affiliate and managed organizations.
• Partner with organizational leadership to identify strategic priorities and develop implementation plans.
• Lead and coordinate projects, programs, board activities, and annual scientific meetings.
• Support board governance, including meeting agendas and minutes, bylaws, policies, and governance requirements.
• Develop and manage organizational budgets in partnership with ASPS Finance and other internal teams.
• Drive membership engagement, recruitment, and retention strategies.
• Use data and performance metrics to evaluate membership, meetings, marketing, social media, financial performance, and operational effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize resources, and strengthen services.
• Organize and participate in meetings, educational programs, exhibits, and other organizational activities.
• Lead and support staff while maintaining best-in-class service and operations.

Benefits

• Annual Salary: $90,000 - $95,000
