[Hiring] Administrative Assistant for Counselor Education @St. Bonaventure University

Role Description

The School of Education at St. Bonaventure is hiring a part-time administrative assistant to support the work of the Counselor Education department. The assistant will be responsible for clerical and managerial duties relevant to the online Counselor Education program. The assistant will work closely with the program director as well as interact with faculty, staff, and students on a regular basis.

• Clerical support for the department primarily the program director
• Clerical support for the department faculty
• Student support to supplement that provided by faculty advisors
• Developing and maintaining work flows and processes to maximize efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education:
• Required: High school diploma
• Preferred: Associates or bachelor’s degree in office administration or a related field
• Years of Experience:
• Required: 1 year in a relevant area
• Preferred: 2 or more years in a relevant area
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Adept at Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong technology skills

Working Conditions

This is a remote position for part time work of 20 hours per week.
