[Hiring] Access & Reimbursement Manager @Novartis

Role Description

The Access & Reimbursement Manager will serve as the key contact and lead for access and reimbursement support-related matters in the Louisville, Kentucky geography. This is a remote & field-based role that covers Louisville, Lexington, and Indianapolis. The Associate must reside within the territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 60 miles from the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact within assigned accounts to support patient access within their therapeutic area product(s) providing proactive face-to-face education on product-specific programs to providers and staff.
• Analyze problems and offer solutions related to payer policies, drug acquisition, and patient/practice reimbursement.
• Identify trends at local, regional, and national levels and partner internally and externally to support patient pull-through.
• Interface with Patient Support Center on patient case management, including tracking cases and issue resolution.
• Review patient-specific information to resolve coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with aligned cross-functional associates within NPC to share insights on customer needs and barriers.
• Maintain a deep understanding of NPC policies and perform all responsibilities with integrity.
• Handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) appropriately and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other privacy laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Business and/or biological science education preferred; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum three to five years’ experience in public or private third-party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy products acquired through Specialty Pharmacy networks or specialty distributors.
• Experience with coding, billing, and office support programs.
• Prior account management experience or experience with complex accounts.
• Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors.
• Ability to operate as a “team player” in collaboration with multiple sales representatives and internal colleagues.
• Candidate must reside within territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance of 60 miles from the territory border.
• Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Experience working within Buy and Bill environments, including reimbursement and access support for provider-administered therapies.

Salary Range

$138,600.00 - $257,400.00
