Role Description

The Access & Reimbursement Manager, NPS Dermatology, is a remote & field-based role covering Saint Louis, MO, Springfield, MO, and Columbia, MO. The ARM will serve as the key contact for access and reimbursement support-related matters, responsible for:

• Being the local market access expert on payer policy coverage, multi-channel acquisition pathways, billing and coding, claims processing, and reimbursement.
• Integrating manufacturer support programs into account workflows.
• Demonstrating problem-solving abilities and analyzing access and reimbursement issues.
• Proactively communicating changes in the healthcare landscape.
• Partnering closely with other NPC field associates, including Customer Engagement and Market Access.
• Coordinating and communicating cross-functionally within NPC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact within assigned accounts to support patient access, providing proactive education on product-specific programs.
• Analyze problems and offer solutions related to payer policies, drug acquisition, and patient reimbursement.
• Interface with Patient Support Center on patient case management, tracking cases, and issue resolution.
• Review patient-specific information to resolve coverage challenges.
• Collaborate with aligned cross-functional associates to share insights on customer needs.
• Maintain a deep understanding of NPC policies and handle Patient Identifiable Information (PII) appropriately.

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years’ experience in public or private third-party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with specialty pharmacy products acquired through Specialty Pharmacy networks.
• Experience with coding, billing, and office support programs.
• Prior account management experience with complex accounts.
• Knowledge of Managed Care, Government, and Federal payer sectors.
• Ability to operate as a “team player” in collaboration with multiple sales representatives.
• Candidate must reside within territory or within a reasonable daily commuting distance.
• Ability to travel 60-80% over a broad geography.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Requirements

• Experience working within Buy and Bill environments, including reimbursement and access support for provider-administered therapies.
