Role Description

The role of the Compliance Director is to lead, strategize, and ensure the appropriate execution of all clinical compliance-related needs and expectations of the organization.

• Responsible for training, mentoring, and managing team members involved in compliance-related work.
• Oversee preparation, completion, and submissions of internal and external compliance audits.
• Monitor and ensure remediation of audit feedback.
• Spearhead compliance initiatives and manage change within the organization.
• Ensure adherence to process and policy related to maintenance of medical records, privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA), and ethical conduct.
• Engage in ongoing collaboration with all layers of leadership teams and HR.

Position may be REMOTE based; candidates must reside in any of the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and/or Wisconsin.

BCBA Certification required for this role.

Qualifications

• BACB Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
• A Master’s degree in special education, psychology, or related field.
• Extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.
• Extensive knowledge of BACB code of ethics and industry ethical standards.
• A minimum of one year working with children with autism spectrum disorders.
• Demonstrated understanding of medical documentation requirements.
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Oversees and manages team members within the Compliance Department.
• May support and/or manage compliance-related activities within other departments (e.g., billing, credentialing, medical records).

• Noise Level is moderate to loud.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
