[Hiring] Director, AI Platforms @Vantage Data Centers

Role Description

This position is based remotely in the United States.

The Director, AI Platforms leads Vantage’s AI platform strategy and operations, overseeing the health, adoption, and evolution of the Copilot and Halo platforms while managing go-to-market packaging, program governance, and cross-team coordination for the entire AI organization. This role owns three interconnected mandates:

• Ensuring platform reliability and continuous improvement.
• Driving enterprise-wide adoption through compelling value narratives.
• Providing the operational backbone that enables the Navigators and Accelerators teams to execute effectively.

The Director builds and leads a team spanning platform engineering, adoption analytics, product management, and program operations, creating the infrastructure and governance frameworks that transform individual AI experiments into sustainable enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications highly desirable.
• Extensive experience leading platform or product teams in enterprise technology environments.
• Deep understanding of enterprise AI platforms including Microsoft Copilot ecosystem and conversational AI platforms.
• Strong product management or go-to-market experience.
• Demonstrated success building and leading diverse teams.
• Experience establishing governance frameworks and program management structures.
• Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical orientation with experience designing metrics frameworks.
• Understanding of data center operations and related industry contexts.
• Experience with enterprise AI governance and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style.
• Travel required is expected to be 15-25%.

Requirements

• Recruit, onboard, and develop platform owners, adoption specialists, GTM leads, and program operations professionals.
• Establish platform health metrics, SLAs, and monitoring dashboards.
• Design adoption measurement frameworks.
• Create go-to-market playbooks.
• Build and maintain the program governance framework.
• Facilitate cross-team coordination.
• Develop executive reporting packages.
• Architect platform evolution roadmaps.
• Establish data governance, security, and compliance standards.
• Partner with IT and Security on platform infrastructure.
• Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends.
• Design and facilitate platform community events.
• Manage vendor relationships for platform components.
• Contribute to AI strategy development.
• Handle additional duties as assigned by Leadership.

• Salary Range: $200,000-210,000 Base + Bonus.
