Role Description

The Senior Manager, Account Executive, will lead a national team of five Account Executives focused on evaluating the brand’s business impact across assigned GPO, IDN, and hospital systems. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to build and develop a team while shaping the strategic vision from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will establish strong partnerships with in-field counterparts, including Sales, Director of National Accounts (DNA), FRMs, and others, to ensure comprehensive management of large hospital accounts. Through a collaborative and strategic approach, this leader will effectively communicate the brand’s value proposition to target accounts and cultivate relationships with key influencers and financial decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Leadership and Federal Managed Care Leadership to manage VA/DOD initiatives.
• Develop overarching strategy to more fully and consistently penetrate these accounts.
• Appropriately allocate resources both human and financial to optimize ROI through increased brand sales.
• Responsible for assigned brand sales volume and market share growth in assigned regional book of business.
• Identify trends and new opportunities to increase revenue.
• Lead sales teams to create strategies to impact regional sales objectives.
• Assess business opportunity and contract strategy at the regional account level.
• Identify business opportunities and threats at the regional level, and develop action plans to address.
• Partner with Channel Marketing team to coordinate in-house support for market events.
• Implement, coordinate, and optimize franchise marketing initiatives with local leadership teams in targeted accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required.
• Advanced analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting business.
• Ability to examine business environment and develop/execute in response to market opportunities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet safe driving requirements.
• Must satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements.
• Previous leadership experience, as well as experience working in an account setting (preferred).

Requirements

• Background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting, and specific licenses required by individual state or cities.
• Responsible for ensuring that you satisfy all HCIR credentialing requirements and for any associated liability for failing to do so.
