Role Description

The Sr. Client Relationship Specialist will report to the Manager in the Priority Care Department. This role is responsible for supporting Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), broker dealer (BDs), assigned Investment Sponsor and Platforms, as well as associated individual clients with Inspira accounts while ensuring the highest quality of service. The primary responsibility of this role is to work directly with assigned Advisor/Sponsor relationship and their contacts to develop and maintain a positive relationship through telephone and email communication. The incumbent is also responsible for interacting with all necessary internal departments to on-board new relationships, answer inquiries related to assigned accounts and addressing client requests. This position is instrumental in growing and maintaining the RIA/BD/Sponsor client relationships for Inspira.

  • Serve as a dedicated point of contact for Advisors/BDs (IA), Investment Sponsors and Platforms (INST), and associated individual clients (PREM, ENG).
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of IRA functions and Internal Revenue Service Code including prohibited transactions and complex investment scenarios.
  • Support account opening, the investment process, and ongoing activities while maintaining the integrity of applicable IRS Rules and Regulations.
  • Answer Advisor/Sponsor/client inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Outgoing communications via phone and emails.
  • Maintain and handle all resolution cases from across the firm for the assigned Advisors/BDs, Institutional, Premier or Engaged points of contact.
  • Handle resolution cases as it relates to Sponsor relationships.
  • Review and resolve complex customer requests.
  • Share information gathered from conversations with Advisors, Sponsors, and clients with their Team Leadership to provide insight into relationships and help drive future product enhancements, with active listening and communication.
  • Work cross-functionally with various departments and team members within the business to maximize service by cross training.
  • Suggest and implement improvements to internal processes.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Typical schedule for this position is a.m. CT to p.m. CT.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Services Industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Communications, or related field
  • CISP recommended

Requirements

  • Possess a high level of knowledge with regard to IRAs and applicable IRS code including an understanding of prohibited transactions and complex investment scenarios
  • Knowledge of investment vehicles, as well as savings and retirement planning tools
  • Ability to solve complex issues, both independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to maintain the highest quality of service and professionalism
  • Excellent analytical skills with a proactive nature
  • Strong organization skills with a drive to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to take on overflow of work that comes to the team
  • Strong relationship and communication skills applied to both internal and external clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • An aptitude for prioritization and multi-tasking
  • A drive to learn and apply new concepts quickly
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
  • Experience in relationship management within the Financial Services industry preferred
