[Hiring] Principal Account Executive @ACI Worldwide

Role Description

Manages ACI's overall relationship with a portfolio of established highly strategic, Tier 1 accounts. Develops deep client relationships, maintains ongoing account strategy, manages deals, and contributes to deal strategy for some of ACI's largest banking clients. Responsible for identifying and cultivating new opportunities and ensuring ACI brings them to close. Keeps current, up-to-date knowledge on ACI products/enhancements and related client value proposition for assigned accounts, knows market competition, and stays informed of industry trends. Builds and maintains high-quality account plans, accurate client health status, and other executive-level information on account activity, opportunities, and reliable forecast data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of demonstrated success managing Tier 1 strategic accounts such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and other similar accounts.
• Preferably with deep experience selling payments solutions.
• Combined minimum experience of 10 years in banking, payments, e-commerce, or mobile payments industries.
• Successful sales and client retention record.
• Excellent executive presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand business and technical solutions while effectively promoting customer value propositions.
• Ability to move the sales process to closure.
• Ability to articulate and professionally present to executive leaders and to respond creatively to meet customer needs.
• Understanding and knowledge of ACI products/solutions is a plus.
• Selling technology solutions into multi-national organizations and/or merchant acquirers/processor experience is highly desired.
• Payments or payments processing related sales experience a plus.
• Salesforce.com experience preferred.

Requirements

• Remote with client and internal travel expected.
• Travel required – 30%.
