Role Description

Interdependence is seeking a strategic and energetic Account Manager to join our Professional Services team. This role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong grasp of Professional Services. You’ll manage client relationships, oversee day-to-day campaign execution, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful PR strategies that build visibility and trust.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Leadership:
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients in the Professional Services sectors.
  • Manage and execute client programs with a focus on strategic storytelling and measurable results.
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and proactively identify new opportunities to drive visibility and engagement.
• Media Relations:
  • Lead media strategy and outreach to secure earned placements across Professional Services outlets.
  • Develop compelling storylines, media materials, and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers in relevant verticals.
• Campaign Strategy & Execution:
  • Oversee PR campaigns, product launches, influencer partnerships, and media activations.
  • Draft and edit press releases, pitches, talking points, and key messaging documents.
  • Ensure creative and strategic alignment across all campaign deliverables.
• Team & Project Management:
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering professional development and growth.
  • Manage deadlines, priorities, and budgets with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with digital, creative, and leadership teams to deliver integrated campaign results.
• Reporting & Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze media performance, prepare strategic reports, and actionable insights for clients.
  • Use analytics to refine campaign strategies and demonstrate ROI.

Qualifications

• 5–6 years of experience in public relations, preferably within an agency setting.
• Strong background in Professional Services.
• Proven success in developing and executing earned media strategies that generate meaningful coverage.
• Excellent writing, editing, and client communication skills.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
