Role Description

The Wholesale Manager is a key operational driver in scaling company growth, serving as a strategic interface for our retail partners. This role leads end-to-end execution for major account growth including:

• New product launches
• Optimizing retail performance metrics
• Managing high-stakes account catalog expansions

This role focuses on addressing the needs of major retail partners, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.

Responsibilities

• Account Management and Execution:
  • Maintain strong relationships with wholesale partners to deliver growth.
  • Work closely with large retail partners, understanding their needs.
  • Collaborate with their end-to-end processes and provide solutions to maximize business opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between wholesale partners and internal teams with new product launches, forecasting, shipments, and advertising.
• Product Launch Coordination:
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute new product launches at wholesale partners.
  • Ensure that all aspects of a product launch are organized and delivered on-time.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations.
• Cross-Functional Support and Collaboration:
  • Provide essential support across multiple departments to ensure positive retailer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the copy and creative team to develop graphics for key wholesale partners.
  • Audit product pages to ensure optimal content, including bullet points, product descriptions, and page optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Marketing, Product Development, and Leadership.
  • Familiarity with retailer portals and tools like Netsuite, Jira, and Asana is required.
• Wholesale Operational Oversight:
  • Oversee and support wholesale shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Manage order processing, ensuring purchase orders are allocated and sent for on-time fulfillment.
  • Assist with integration details and provide support during implementations.
  • Collaborate with the operation team and external teams to streamline operations and resolve shipment-related challenges.
• Catalog Management:
  • Manage and maintain the product catalog across multiple retail partners and regions.
  • Ensure product data, descriptions, and assets are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for global consistency.
  • Work closely with marketing, creating, and regional teams to support product launches and catalog-related projects.
• Workflow Optimization & AI Integration:
  • Leverage AI tools and automated workflows to streamline demand forecasting, wholesale data analysis, and partner communications.
• Marketing Execution:
  • Oversee the development, execution, and optimization of marketing materials and product inserts.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative and Product Development to ensure alignment with product catalog and business objectives.
• Scaled Onboarding:
  • Develop frameworks for new retail partners and emerging channels.
  • Partner directly with retail buyers and internal stakeholders to analyze channel performance and build strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounting Team to audit wholesale financial chargebacks.
• Performance Automation:
  • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly sales reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify key trends to enhance future reporting summaries and explore opportunities to automate report generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years in wholesale experience, ideally in consumer products or experience with large retail partners.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of securing wholesale revenue and overseeing accurate fulfillment.
• Experience tracking key performance ad metrics (CTR, conversions, engagement) for campaigns and A/B tests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
• Impeccable attention to detail and an action-oriented mindset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
• Reporting experience and analytical mindset with high proficiency in analytics tools.
• Strong relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Availability to work collaboratively across time zones when needed.
