Role Description

An Account Strategist is the day-to-day client account owner that takes responsibility for making sure that agreed growth tasks are delivered on time and to the exacting specification required to fulfil their particular requirement / merchant brief.

  • Own a number of BAO’s retained Strategic Programme merchants.
  • Build strong, value-based relationships with key stakeholders of those merchants.
  • Work alongside the roadmap creator (Strategic Director / Head of Merchant Strategy) to help formulate ideas and understand task requirements.
  • Liaise with the internal BAO team to scope, progress, and deliver final outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on technical experience with an e-Commerce platform - Shopify, Magento, Big Commerce etc.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working on active eCommerce (in-house or in an agency).
  • Strong technology generalist with a positive, problem-solving attitude.
  • Experienced communicator who understands how to cultivate and nurture client relations.
  • Highly organised, capable of multi-tasking and managing requests from different clients simultaneously.
  • Example of previous roles - eCommerce Manager, eCommerce Executive, Project Manager, Digital Account Manager.

Requirements

  • Working directly with the Shopify / Shopify Plus platform and partners within the ecosystem.
  • Understanding of analytics tools such as Google Analytics with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • Experienced in managing development roadmaps, and an understanding of end-to-end strategies.
