[Hiring] Director of Account Management @Childcare Marketing Group

Role Description

We are looking for a Director of Account Management who can lead our account management team, build strong client relationships at the highest level, raise the standard of client communication, and help our clients clearly see the value of our work.

The Director of Account Management owns the performance of the account management team and the health of our full portfolio of child care and early education clients. You will:

• Coach and develop Account Managers
• Set the standard for proactive, personalized client communication
• Step into escalations and high-stakes conversations
• Help ensure every client has a positive experience and a clear reason to continue working with us
• Drive team-wide results across renewals, upsells, testimonials, and client satisfaction
• Build the playbooks, systems, and reporting that support long-term account growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years in account management, client success, or a client-facing digital marketing role, including 2+ years leading, mentoring, or managing a team
• Working knowledge of digital marketing, including paid ads, SEO, social media, email, and landing pages
• A track record of hitting renewal, retention, or account growth targets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience managing multiple client relationships or a full portfolio at once
• Comfort reading campaign metrics and reporting on results to clients and leadership
• Proficiency with CRM and project management tools
• A reliable remote work setup and availability to work primarily on an Eastern Time schedule

Requirements

• Experience in child care, education, franchise, or multi-location businesses
• Prior leadership experience at a marketing agency
• A track record of upselling and growing existing accounts, and of building systems that make it repeatable
• Experience hiring, onboarding, and training Account Managers or client success teams
• Google Ads and/or Meta advertising certifications
• Hands-on experience with tools such as GoHighLevel, ClickUp, or similar marketing platforms
