[Hiring] Director, Global Account Management @Flex

Role Description

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director, Global Account Management - Healthcare based remote from within the US or Canada.

Reporting to the VP of Global Account Management, the Director of Global Account Management will:

• Develop and manage the growth relationship of one of our largest, multi-national med-tech partners.
• Potentially manage additional focused engagements.

Core required skills:

• Large account management experience.
• Ability to craft and articulate the compelling Healthcare value proposition.
• Financial fluency for commercial negotiations for group profitability metrics.
• Ability to navigate a matrixed organization encompassing internal stakeholders.
• Building robust service delivery teams.

What a typical day looks like:

• Strategic: Analyze and understand customers’ business strategy, future product plans, and expansion activities; align Flex resources where mutually beneficial.
• Commercial: Review business metrics (delivery, quality, customer satisfaction, financials); manage internal and external financial elements amid shifting economic challenges.
• Forecasting and reducing inventory; evaluate and assess financial performance.
• Work closely with global project teams to ensure alignment to goals.

Qualifications

• A completed degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent field of study.
• Relevant work experience as a sales professional in the healthcare-focused electronic manufacturing services industry.
• Focus on business-to-business and large/strategic customer engagements.
• Demonstrated strategic framing and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to make effective and persuasive presentations to various stakeholders.
• Ability to travel within North America with periodic global travel.
