[Hiring] Client Success Account Manager @Axios

Role Description

In this role, you will join the Client Success team leading post-sale account management for new and existing accounts, delivering best-in-class, turnkey client experiences from kickoff to wrap. You’ll also partner with Client Partnerships on pre-sale efforts, helping develop thoughtful media plans and product recommendations based on client goals.

• Helping drive client retention, identify opportunities for growth, and support media planning efforts to maximize long-term value for both client and Axios.
• Working closely with multiple cross-functional teams (Axios Creative House, Events, Brand Journalism, and Ad Operations) to develop and execute a wide range of campaigns across the Axios product suite.
• Managing all post-sale campaign elements, including ownership across kick-off calls, production, launch, and reporting.
• Pulling reports and using analytics to make data-driven campaign optimization recommendations.
• Partnering with sales teams on pre-sale needs, including proposals, RFP responses, and media planning.
• Developing and implementing long-term strategies aligned with team and company goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of digital campaign planning and execution experience in a publisher or agency environment.
• 2 - 4 years of work experience demonstrating the following attributes:
• Agile and adaptable in managing multiple campaigns simultaneously while meeting all deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
• Experience developing media plans and recommending products and campaign strategies based on client objectives, budgets, and goals.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships and orchestrate effective communication across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication, organization, and project management skills with obsessive attention to detail.
• Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Capacity to analyze complex situations and foresee potential challenges and opportunities.
• Skilled at identifying problems and developing effective solutions independently.
• Growth mindset and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Initiative to take on responsibilities and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.

• Proficiency in Google Office Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs).
• Prior professional experience in account management, customer support, media planning/RFP development, digital marketing, ad operations, or business development is a plus.

Requirements

• Starting salary for this role is in the range of $70,000 - $80,000, dependent on numerous factors including location, work experience, and skills.
• This range does not include other compensation and benefits.
• Total compensation includes incremental variable compensation based on sales territory, contingent upon the successful achievement of predetermined sales targets.
