[Hiring] Account Manager (Motor Finance Brokers) @Tandem Bank

Role Description

The main purpose of the role is to create and maintain relationships with introducing used car dealers and brokers. Responsibilities include:

• Creating new motor finance broker relationships within your geographical area.
• Managing existing broker accounts to ensure they meet their sales and efficiency targets.
• Attending face-to-face meetings and telephone/email negotiations offering competitive finance facilities to brokers.
• Offering excellent customer service.
• Being an active team player.
• Achieving business targets and personal objectives.
• Attending 121’s and team meetings in any of our office locations (typically held in Cardiff).

• Effective communication styles and methods used to interact with used car dealers, brokers, and third parties.
• Ability to work independently, setting your own priorities and taking a lead role.
• Prepared to take accountability for your own performance.
• Ability to communicate verbal and written information to customers clearly, fairly, and not misleading.
• Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment, with the capacity to prioritize tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to research, digest, analyze, and present material clearly and concisely to senior management and director level.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work proactively and think strategically in a fast-moving environment.
• Flexibility and adaptability to a wide variety of tasks and to work extra hours where required to meet deadlines and deal with client queries.
• Ability to present to motor dealers and brokers of all sizes and types.

Requirements

• Previous experience of motor finance, or associated businesses within the motor industry (preferred but not essential).
• Good understanding of the digital marketplace that exists within the motor finance industry (preferred but not essential).
• Understanding of the regulatory environment that exists within the motor industry (preferred but not essential).
