Role Description

The Account Manager, Global Partnerships is responsible for managing relationships with key preferred Partners in the 4 Verticals (Hotels & Resorts, Cruise, Destination & Experiences and Alliances). Responsibilities include the achievement of annual company and department sales targets for their assigned portfolio of accounts, growing and deepening relationships and increasing Preferred Partner visibility within the Virtuoso Network.

  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including (but not limited to): Revenue Performance goals in marketing sales and event attendance sales.
  • Create and maintain robust Partner Briefs for each global and regional account in conjunction with Global Partner Briefs, housed on the CRM platform.
  • Enter Sales Activities in CRM for global visibility (notes, emails, meetings, calls, tasks).
  • Implement, with partners, action plans for growth and engagement with Virtuoso to measure and achieve KPI’s.
  • Work within the assigned budget to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Collaborative and strategic business planning with partners to develop growth and profitability plans that introduce increased sales of Virtuoso products, services and events, tailored to fit the partner's goals.
  • Educate, advocate for, and train partners on relevant Virtuoso products, services and events to increase engagement and preferred partner penetration and sales.
  • Maintain and monitor the health of the existing partner portfolio, flagging any and all concerns to Directors in a timely manner.
  • Manage and grow strong partner relationships, focusing on achieving shared strategic goals with both global and regional preferred partners.
  • Increase travel partner sales and engagement, engaging partners who may currently not be engaged with Virtuoso (regular analysis of Tableau reports).
  • Represent Virtuoso at industry trade shows, conferences & meetings as required.
  • Assist in Event Management; registrations, waitlists and partner priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years’ experience
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to a highly successful team performance
  • Awareness of current business trends
  • Ability to collect and analyze information, problem solve, and make decisions
  • Agility and drive to inspire a win-win-win environment and deliverables
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Results oriented with a focus on commercial delivery
  • Strong quality service attitude and approach
  • Self-motivated and energetic
  • Champion of company goals and objectives
  • Marketplace Awareness – Current business trend knowledge

  • Self-Starter - Ability to work independently
  • Fluency in French highly desired

Travel Requirements

  • Travel is required approximately 20% - 35% of the time.
  • Travel will be mostly in the region, some international.

Type/Nature of Contacts

  • External: Meetings with Preferred Partners.
  • Internal: Daily contact with Virtuoso staff.
