As an Account Manager for Data Flow Systems, you’ll be a trusted partner to municipal and utility customers, building long-term relationships and collaborating to solve their toughest challenges. This is not a role about making 100 cold calls a day, it’s about strategic engagement, teamwork, and driving innovation in the water industry. This is a remote role, with regular travel throughout Florida and parts of the Southeast.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with municipal and utility customers to understand operational challenges across lift stations, collection systems, and stormwater networks, delivering tailored DFS SCADA and telemetry solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with operators, engineers, and decision-makers, acting as a trusted resource for system optimization and modernization.
• Collaborate with industry innovators and leverage team expertise to present new technologies and products to current and prospective clients.
• Educate customers on best practices and emerging technologies in remote monitoring, alarm management, system integration, and digital transformation.
• Serve as a resource and advisor, ensuring customers stay informed on the latest advancements in AMI, smart metering, and water quality solutions.
• Represent Badger Meter and Data Flow Systems at industry events, technical conferences, and customer engagements to strengthen brand presence and partnerships.
• Provide insights and feedback to internal teams to help shape product development and enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably with utilities or government agencies.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to travel up to 75% within your territory.
