Role Description

Increase sales revenue with designated Shaw Residential. Nurture business relationships to build trust and confidence in our company and salesforce. Establish a positive relationship with salesforce to maintain an appropriate level of service for this customer base.

Account Success Managers contribute to the success of Shaw Industries by possessing a thorough understanding of product knowledge, selling strategies, and customer service for assigned geographic territory(ies). Account Success Managers display a positive attitude and project a willingness to help, while consistently providing accurate information to the consumer. Account Success Managers are responsible for growing business and maintaining excellence by managing pricing, product inquiries, and selling opportunities.

  • Grow assigned accounts relative to Divisional sales volume and goal, product availability, and market share.
  • Develop good relationships with customers, Territory Managers, RVPโ€™s, and DVPโ€™s based on knowledge, service, trust, and integrity.
  • Listen and learn our dealersโ€™ business and needs to provide recommendations, solutions, and product information daily.
  • Meet sales goals and activities as indicated and determined by the National Inside Sales Manager.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and RVPโ€™s to ensure strategic execution, understand national and local promotions, and stay up-to-date on market trends.
  • Sell and promote all residential product labels, including but not limited to, Shaw Floors and Philly Commercial, and educate customers on these products.
  • Execute daily sales calls to existing customers with special emphasis on the sale of rolls and quantities of carpet, samples, displays, cushion, adhesive, and related floor products.
  • Develop a keen awareness of what is happening within their designated geographic area.
  • Prepare and communicate periodic sales reports outlining actual sales information and goals, competitive market conditions, and product needs.
  • Analyze sales statistics by reviewing computer reports specific to his/her territory to aid in formulating goals and assist dealers in promoting sales.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Associate degree or higher education preferred.
  • 2+ years of sales experience or B.S. in Marketing or related field.
  • Ability to learn Salesforce and other Shaw systems necessary for the position.
