Role Description

We are seeking a highly driven and commercially strategic Sales Manager – APAC & MEA to lead revenue growth across the region through the sale of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and our other broader SaaS solutions. This role is responsible for driving enterprise customer acquisition and strategic account growth across APAC & MEA markets, partnering with logistics providers, freight forwarders, carriers, and supply chain organizations to accelerate digital transformation and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate combines deep logistics industry understanding with strong enterprise SaaS sales capability, and possesses the ability to navigate complex, multi-country enterprise sales environments. This role requires a highly consultative commercial professional who can engage senior logistics stakeholders, understand operational pain points, and position technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. The role works closely with Product, Customer Success, Global Key Accounts, and Commercial leadership teams to drive customer adoption, regional growth, and long-term commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive SaaS revenue growth across APAC for Ocean Freight, Air Freight, and other SaaS solutions.
  • Identify, target, and acquire enterprise logistics providers, freight forwarders, carriers, shippers, and supply chain organizations.
  • Build and manage a robust regional sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Lead enterprise business development efforts across multiple APAC markets and customer segments.
  • Drive strategic commercial conversations with senior logistics stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Manage complex enterprise sales cycles from opportunity creation through commercial closure.
  • Contribute to regional go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives.
  • Lead consultative sales discussions focused on the digitalization of freight and logistics workflows.
  • Position and articulate value across Ocean Freight solutions, Air Freight solutions, digital logistics products, workflow automation capabilities, procurement and quoting workflows, and operational visibility and efficiency solutions.
  • Understand customer pain points across freight operations and supply chain workflows and position tailored solutions that improve efficiency, visibility, and business outcomes.
  • Conduct executive-level presentations, commercial workshops, product demonstrations, and solution discussions.
  • Develop customized proposals and lead complex commercial negotiations through to successful contract execution.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with enterprise customers through a consultative and trusted-advisor approach.
  • Partner closely with Global Key Account Management and Customer Success teams to support onboarding, product adoption, account stabilization, and long-term growth.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the broader product portfolio.
  • Support strategic account expansion initiatives across regional customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to deliver customer value and business outcomes.
  • Provide regional market intelligence, customer insights, and workflow feedback to support product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Operate effectively across diverse APAC and MEA markets, cultures, and stakeholder groups.
  • Maintain disciplined CRM management, forecasting, pipeline reporting, and opportunity tracking through Salesforce, Zoho, or equivalent systems.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, freight technology, transportation technology, or related industries.
  • 8+ Proven experience in enterprise and mid-market B2B SaaS and solution selling.
  • Strong understanding of Ocean Freight and Air Freight operational ecosystems and workflows.
  • Experience selling technology solutions into logistics, freight, transportation, or supply chain organizations.
  • Strong enterprise sales capability with experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence Director, VP, and C-level stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling capability.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Experience working effectively across multicultural and cross-functional environments.
  • Willingness to travel across APAC as business needs require.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships within the freight forwarding and ocean carrier ecosystem in APAC are highly desirable.
  • Experience within freight-tech, logistics SaaS, transportation technology, or digital logistics environments.
  • Existing enterprise relationships across APAC logistics and supply chain ecosystems.
  • Exposure to logistics technology ecosystems such as CargoWise, CargoAI, Cargo One, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of logistics procurement, pricing, operational workflows, and freight economics.
  • Additional Asian language capabilities, including Mandarin or Southeast Asian languages, are advantageous.
  • Experience working across global product and commercial organizations.
