[Hiring] Insurance Sales and Service Representative I @GM Financial

Role Description

The Insurance Sales/Service Representative is responsible for selling and/or servicing General Motors Insurance policies, while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws. This role is for people who want to solve problems and provide our customers with the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction that they deserve.

• Depending on qualifications, this position is for selling, servicing, or a hybrid of both.
• You may be the first contact for customers by providing them with quotes and converting them to long-term General Motors Insurance customers.
• Assist customers with their post-sales questions and policy changes via various contact methods, including inbound and outbound phone calls, email, chat, and text.
• Proactively partner with internal business partners, team leaders, and managers to resolve complex customer issues in a timely manner.
• Perform any tasks assigned as business needs require.
• Through a consultative sales approach, provide insurance quotes and utilize selling techniques to close sales.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to solve problems effectively.
• Experience in sales or customer service preferred.

• Understanding of state and federal laws related to insurance.
