Role Description
Senior Directors are responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and projects, leading large-scale technology and transformation programs, and driving business development as an industry, process, and technology subject matter expert. This role includes significant client-facing responsibilities, with travel (50β75%), and full accountability for client relationships, delivery execution, and practice growth.
This role is a Retail & Consumer industry leader within the Oracle Diversified Industries Practice, responsible for building and scaling a repeatable, high-growth Oracle business across North America. The Senior Director will lead industry-specific solutioning, Oracle co-sell motions, and revenue generation, with a focus on converting existing credentials (e.g., large-scale retail transformations) into scalable pipeline and bookings.
Practice Contribution

Responsible for an annual target of bookings set by leadership, through direct and co-sell pursuits with Oracle

Lead development of Retail industry go-to-market strategy, including prioritization of target clients and buying centers (CFO, COO, Supply Chain, Merchandising)

Build and scale repeatable Retail Oracle offerings, including:

AI-enabled FP&A and financial planning (Oracle ERP/ EPM + OCI GenAI)

Omnichannel inventory optimization and planning
-
Retail analytics and decision intelligence
-
Activate and maintain Oracle co-sell relationships with Retail industry AEs and leadership
-
Convert existing client successes into repeatable pipeline and reference-led selling motions

Lead proposal development, solution architecture, and executive presentations
-
Build and mentor a Retail-focused team (Directors, Managers, SMEs)
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Advisory, Digital, Alliances) to deliver integrated solutions

Drive thought leadership through industry content, webinars, and Oracle joint marketing efforts

Identify and productize accelerators and industry solutions to improve speed, margin, and scalability
Engagement, Program, and Project Management

Lead multiple client engagements across Retail transformation programs

Develop and manage senior executive client relationships

Define and manage scope, budget, and delivery approach

Ensure quality of deliverables and alignment with client outcomes

Manage engagement economics, including forecasting, margin, and utilization

Oversee delivery teams and ensure alignment with standardized accelerators and AI-enabled delivery models

Ensure strong governance, risk management, and change control
Required Competencies

Strong industry expertise in Retail & Consumer, including omnichannel operations, merchandising, supply chain, and finance

Proven ability to drive business development and close deals in a consulting environment

Experience working with Oracle solutions (ERP & OCI) in a Retail context

Strong understanding of Retail industry challenges, including:

Omnichannel complexity and fulfillment optimization

Inventory as a revenue and margin lever

Retail media and data monetization

Ability to operate at executive client levels and influence decision-making

Experience building and leading high-performing teams

Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage P&L, pipeline, and deal economics

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in business, technology, or related field
-
10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
-
7+ years of experience in Retail industry transformation initiatives
-
Demonstrated experience in Oracle implementations or Oracle-related transformation programs
-
Proven track record of business development and revenue generation
-
Experience supporting or leading Oracle co-sell or alliance-driven sales motions
-
Strong experience in solution design, proposal development, and client presentations
-
Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities in a fast-paced environment
-
Willingness to travel up to 75%

Benefits

The estimated base salary range for this job is $215,000 - $275,000.

Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $268,750 - $371,250.
