Role Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Test Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in software testing to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of software quality assurance processes, testing methodologies, and automation concepts. Exposure to Cypress automation testing is considered a strong advantage.

As a Test Engineer, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will be involved in:

• Designing test scenarios
• Executing test cases
• Identifying defects
• Contributing to continuous improvement in testing practices

This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about quality, eager to learn modern testing tools, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts including functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing
• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools
• Basic understanding of API testing and database validation is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively

Requirements

• Hands-on exposure to Cypress automation testing
• Understanding of JavaScript basics for writing and maintaining automation scripts
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows is an added advantage

Educational Qualification
