[Hiring] Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative @Cigna Healthcare

Role Description

Accredo Specialty Pharmacy is looking for Pharmacy Technicians in Florida, Indiana, or Ohio. As a Pharmacy Technician Associate Representative, residing in IN, FL, or OH, you will work from home, assisting patients in receiving life-sustaining medications to help manage rare and/or chronic diseases. You’ll be empowered to engage patients, insurance companies, and multiple departments to process prescription orders and ensure timely shipment of medications. This role is very detail-oriented, and you’ll spend the majority of your day working on our computer system entering data and talking inbound phone calls.

• Efficiently triage incoming calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring each inquiry is prioritized and directed to the appropriate resource.
• Assess and process inbound calls for new verbal prescriptions and clarifications on existing orders, determining urgency and appropriate next steps.
• Update and reconcile patient charts with new demographic and health information gathered during triage, supporting accurate and timely patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must reside in Indiana, Florida, or Ohio
• Customer Service and phone experience, a plus
• Valid Pharmacy Technician License in Indiana, Florida, or Ohio
• Tech Savvy - Strong computer/data entry skills
• High-speed internet with wired ethernet connection
• Private & quiet workspace

Requirements

• Internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
