[Hiring] Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator - Cardiology @Staffing for Doctors

Role Description

We are seeking a high-energy, detail-oriented Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator to join our fast-paced Cardiology practice. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our patients, ensuring they receive seamless and compassionate care while managing the complex scheduling needs of a specialty medical office.

• Bilingual Communication: Provide fluent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish to assist our diverse patient population accurately and empathetically.
• High-Volume Call Management: Efficiently handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, acting as the first point of contact for patient inquiries, referrals, and general information.
• Specialized Scheduling: Coordinate and manage complex appointment calendars for Cardiology consultations, follow-ups, and diagnostic testing.
• Patient Follow-Up: Proactively conduct outbound outreach to patients for post-procedure check-ins, appointment reminders, and to relay non-clinical instructions from providers.
• End-to-End Care Coordination: Ensure all patient demographic and insurance information is accurately captured and updated in the EMR system during the intake process.
• Administrative Support: Manage patient requests for medical records, prescription refills, and specialist referrals while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Language: Native or professional fluency in Spanish and English is required; at least CEFR B2 Level for Spanish with valid language certificate.
• Experience: Previous experience in a medical front-office or call center environment; experience in Cardiology is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and multi-line phone systems.
• Communication: Exceptional phone etiquette and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a high-volume setting.
• Multitasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to jump between scheduling, follow-ups, and live calls seamlessly.
