[Hiring] Roadway Project Engineer @Parsons Corporation

Role Description

Parsons is looking for a talented Roadway Project Engineer to join our team full-time to support one of the many large transformative transportation projects that we have either won, are currently pursuing, or will pursue across the nation.

• Some of the larger projects are located in the states of:
• Tennessee
• Georgia
• North Carolina
• Virginia
• Indiana

In this role, you will help deliver the design for projects that have a construction value greater than $1 billion, enhancing the mobility, safety, and reliability for communities who live along and travel through these critical corridors.

This position is remote, with flexibility in work location while still supporting virtual collaboration with Parsons teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets and monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.
• Coordinates the utilization of interdisciplinary technical personnel on the project with other Project Engineers.
• Coordinates the assignment of personnel from other technical support groups within the company.
• Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, supervising, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
• Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
• Expedites distribution of action items following discussions/meetings with the client and Project Manager.
• Prepares technical reports and documentation of activity for the client and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• 8-12+ years related engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license

Salary Range

$103,500.00 - $181,100.00
