Who you are

Tactical is looking for a Freelance Copywriter fluent in both English and Turkish to support our Entertainment partner. This role requires an agile and creative language expert who can deliver high-quality translations, localized content adaptations, and original Turkish copywriting for marketing campaigns, product launches, and social media channels.

The ideal candidate will be a native Turkish speaker with excellent command of English, capable of writing in a variety of tones and styles while maintaining brand consistency across multiple platforms.

Translation & Localization

Translate English marketing materials into Turkish, and vice versa, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand tone of voice.

Adapt global campaigns for the Turkish market, localizing copy to resonate with regional audiences without losing the core messaging.

Review and edit existing Turkish content for clarity, consistency, and quality.

Creative Turkish Copywriting

Craft original Turkish-language copy for marketing campaigns, including ad copy, social media content, product descriptions, and promotional materials.

Collaborate with internal teams (Creatives, Social) to develop engaging and persuasive messaging that drives consumer action.

Ensure all Turkish-language content aligns with client brand guidelines and creative strategy.

Content Quality Control

Proofread and edit Turkish content for grammar, style, and cultural accuracy.

Ensure that translations and original copy are clear, error-free, and appropriately localized for target audiences.

Advise teams on language best practices to enhance overall creative output for the Turkish market.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with Project Managers, Creatives, and Social teams to ensure deadlines are met and briefs are clearly understood.

Contribute to brainstorm sessions for campaigns that require local insights and cultural relevance.

What you bring

Bilingual Fluency: Native-level Turkish speaker with excellent English proficiency (spoken and written).

Translation Expertise: Proven experience in English-Turkish translation and localization for marketing, advertising, or e-commerce content.

Creative Writing Skills: Ability to develop engaging, brand-aligned Turkish copy across a range of marketing formats.

Marketing & Social Content Experience: Experience writing for social media, performance marketing, digital campaigns, and/or e-commerce platforms.

Attention to Detail: Strong editing and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for grammar, style, and consistency.

Cultural Sensitivity: Deep understanding of Turkish culture, market nuances, and language trends to ensure authentic communication.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with Google Docs, Sheets, and project management tools like Forecast, Trello, or similar platforms.

Deadline Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight timelines.

Adaptability: Ability to shift between translation, localization, and original copywriting depending on project needs.

Preferred Experience: Previous experience working with global brands, particularly in e-commerce, tech, or retail sectors.

Language Proficiencies: Fluency in Turkish (native) and English (professional working proficiency) required.
