Senior Android app developer

Tech Stack:

• Kotlin
• Jetpack Compose / XML-based UI
• Android Studio
• Git

If you have experience with Swift / iOS development, or are motivated to learn, this is a big plus, but in no way a must.

The current app team consists of 1 iOS developer & tech lead and Android developer, and we are looking to supplement the team with another Android developer. You will work closely with your team as well as the product team, and you can either do this remotely or hybrid in one of our offices in Amsterdam or Johannesburg.

We believe that everyone should be connected globally. But over 41% of the world does not have Internet and the most heavily hit are underserviced communities in developing countries. That’s why we have built a localized, easy-to-use, and reliable product for underserviced communities. Talk360 is the leading VoIP app allowing affordable and reliable international calls to any offline landline or mobile phone in the world. As the call receiver does not need internet, the Talk360 app, or a smartphone, this solution was able to connect 2.3 million people in 2022, no matter where they were located or whether they had internet access. Our calling app has over 200’000 users globally and is available in over 190 countries.
