[Hiring] Mid-Level Testing Engineer @Cloud7Works, Inc.

We are seeking a skilled Testing Engineer with experience in performance testing. The ideal candidate will have experience performing manual and automated tests and understand performance testing metrics for cloud-based applications. You should have experience testing cloud-based applications and understand performance of applications hosted in the cloud.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage
• Design and develop automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium
• Develop and execute manual test plans and test cases as needed
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to development team members
• Analyze and report test results, and work with developers to identify and resolve defects
• Maintain test environments and test data sets
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards, such as FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST SP 800-53
• Familiarity with application performance testing metrics and methods
• Attend meetings with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
• Proactively respond to tier 2 and tier 3 support tickets working with developers
• Familiarity with the Java programming language
• Experience with database technologies, such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Experience with software development tools, such as Git, Jenkins, and JIRA
• Experience with software performance tools such as New Relic and JMeter 
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• U.S. Citizen
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with load and performance testing tools, such as JMeter or LoadRunner
  • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or Cucumber

This position is Full-Time Contract or Contract to Hire. Applicants must reside & work with-in the United States. Remote is allowed but within the United States.
