[Hiring] Full-Stack Software Engineer @Zipdev

Zipdev is growing and we are looking to hire a Software Engineer with experience in JavaScript, Google Apps Script, PHP, MySQL and automation to join our remote internal team! In this internal role you will be working with department managers to gather requirements to automate Google sheets, work with the Executive leaders to build custom software projects, build out custom dashboards using Looker studio, and occasionally conduct technical screenings.

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Ensure software is updated with latest features
• Technical Screenings when needed

Requirements

• Fluent English speaking and writing skills
• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer (at least 5 years of experience)
• Experience designing interactive applications
• Excellent WordPress Skills (PHP, MySQL, etc)
• Ability to develop software in JavaScript, Google Apps Script, PHP, MySQL
• Proven experience automating processes with Google Sheets and Google Apps Script.
• Experience creating Dashboards with Looker Studio
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases
• Experience with test-driven development
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Currently living in Latin America
