Job Description: Senior Front-End Developer

What will you do:
• Development web application with high standards and performance in mind.
• Engineering reusable, well-tested software that remain easy to maintain as the code base and business continues to scale;
• Ensure that software is built in a way which is consistent with - and exploits where possible - the collective frameworks, patterns and practices that exist across the wider Engineering  community;
• Good understanding on how browsers work behind the scenes.
• Understand and apply industry best practices, foster knowledge sharing to provide solutions for complex business problems where no precedent may exist, and ensure implementation of  solutions where appropriate;
• Ability to break down design layouts to reusable components.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;

Your Team:
• Our team is a mix of Harman and Customer FTE members, and they work closely to deliver the result. The team is managed by customer.

What You Will Do:
• You will be doing a daily activity along with customer team
• You are responsible to help the team to achieve the common goal

What You Need:
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS (using SCSS), Angular
• Excellent knowledge of Javascript, using jQuery and OOP principles.
• Great knowledge and experience using responsive design techniques.
• Familiarity with Unit & Functional Testing.
• Familiarity with Invision, Figma or similar visual collaboration tool.
• Familiarity with webpack, gulp, grunt.
• Nice to have experience with Knockout.js and/or other JS Libraries.
• Nice to have experience with GSP or other server-side view rendering technologies.
• Understanding of key Website Design principles, SEO optimization and Accessibility bestpractices
• Software development process understanding (Agile: Scrum or Kanban) and ability to work in distributed team;
• Good understanding of software design principles. Strong knowledge of design pattern and software design principles;
• Experience with Screen Readers is considered as a plus.
