Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our Sales team as a New Business Account Executive. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in consultative sales and will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities within our target market. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and an excellent hunter of new business opportunities with previous experience in a SaaS environment.


  • Prospect and secure meetings to win new business. Meet and exceed a quota of $600k + in new business ARR per annum
  • Appropriately manage your week with outbound prospecting, list building, cold calling, calls with prospects and customers
  • Demonstrate the value of our SaaS products to potential customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within target companies
  • Drive urgency and accountability throughout the sales process
  • Continuously research and stay current on industry trends and developments
  • Consult with prospects to determine the best solutions for their specific needs. Recommend solutions & Proof of Value programs. Prepare and present proposals and get contracts executed
  • Work with Marketing and the Business Development Team to devise a strategy to grow your pipeline
  • Be able to fluently demonstrate our product solutions to prospects
  • Evangelize products to VisibleThread prospects, corporate accounts and major brands
  • Identify, create and close opportunities for upsells and cross sells within your customer portfolio
  • Create and diligently manage your prospect database and pipeline in Salesforce
  • Log sales activity (prospecting, opportunities, revenue, renewals, next steps) in Salesforce
  • Work closely with all business functions to increase the customer base, customer loyalty, revenue per customer and top-line financial growth for the business
  • Ensure a long-term competitive edge for the business through a value-added approach to prospects and customers
  • Travel, as required, to meet prospects and customers face-to-face


Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of sales experience into larger enterprises, selling software products
  • A revenue-driven focus with a history of consistently meeting and exceeding quota
  • History of referenceable top sales achievements
  • Proven success in a start-up, early-stage, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent skills in qualifying opportunities, discovery and assessing prospect value
  • Superior presentation and negotiations skills
  • Prior experience with Salesforce, Linkedin, Microsoft, Outreach, and Zoominfo are a plus
  • Articulate, persuasive individual with excellent communication skills
  • Proactive and ready to enthusiastically embrace change
  • Ability to fit into a dynamic team in a fast-growing company
  • Motivated self-starter able to work under own initiative
  • Manage workload and embrace dynamically changing priorities
  • Personable with the ability to work cross-functionally, both internally and externally
  • Organized, focused and driven to achieve results within set timescales
  • Creative and open-minded
