Overview

 

We're looking for a Renewals Manager to join the Account Management Team. The Renewals Manager is responsible for supporting our Account Managers in their objective to ensure the continued use and satisfaction with Recharge. This individual will be primarily responsible for merchants renewing their long-term commitments to Recharge and will work closely in a cross-functional capacity with adjacent teams including, Legal, Finance and Sales. This person will become a key contact to our merchants, guaranteeing optimal experiences during the process.

 

What you will do

  • Live by and champion our values: #day-one, #ownership, #empathy, #humility.

  • Responsible for the on-going process evaluation and application of renewals for Tier 3 merchants

  • Procedural way of working that ensures agreements are finalized quickly and accurately

  • Negotiate terms and conditions of Recharge’s custom agreements directly with our merchants

  • Ensure renewals are forecasted correctly based of growth projections of our merchants

  • Drive retention, with a focus on continuous improvement of the merchant experience

  • Grow revenue via up/cross-sell opportunities for Sales counterparts  upon renewal cycle

  • Process downgrades as a means of resolving merchant risk and salvaging partnerships

  • Work internally to identify, scope and deliver renewal process improvements.

  • Collaborate with Legal on creative solutioning when merchant term stipulations deviate from standard T’s & C’s

  • Ensure Finance has an accurate forecast for recurring revenue streams 60-90 days in advance 

  • Work alongside peers to crowdsource, creatively problem solve and deliver best in class service to our merchants 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Typically, 3-5 years minimum of experience managing enterprise SaaS accounts in a fast paced technology driven company

  • Experience offering consultative, white glove support to accounts.

  • Advanced skills with Excel and Salesforce

  • Excellent relationship management, communication and negotiating skills

  • Consistent track record of achieving targets

  • A sense of urgency and desire to go above and beyond to provide solutions for our customers

  • Resourcefulness: you'll figure out what needs to be done and find ways to make it happen

  • Ability to work remotely and desire to make an impact at a high growth company

  • A practical approach to address unexpected issues with out-of-the-box solutions

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience desired
