Regional Sales and Business Development

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to work with us to change the world of inspections for renewable energy thanks to our automated solutions. The successful applicant will work alongside the existing Perceptual Robotics Sales team to increase our number of Clients and Partners throughout the world. This is an excellent opportunity to work on innovative autonomous drone applications with a big impact in the renewable energy space (and other industries too).

Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales and business development contacts in the region assigned to you (Nordics, Baltics and Central Eastern European Countries)
  • Prospecting the market/ contacting new Clients
  • Draft & send sales proposals and tender replies
  • Lead and attend meetings with Clients and potential Clients
  • Organise/coordinate Demos
  • Update regularly our CRM system
  • Represent the Company in Events, Demos or Trade Fairs
  • Interact with the Development team providing feedback from market
  • Interact with Operations team when it comes to coordinating Inspections with a Client
  • Interact with Support team if/as needed
  • Interact and work alongside with Marketing team
  • Report to the Head of Sales and Business Development

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Take initiative - we’re a small company still, so we’ll expect you to take ownership of whatever you work on.
  • Engineering/Technical/Business degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience in sales preferably in the wind energy/renewables or drone market
  • Thorough Knowledge of Wind and/or Solar European Market
  • Availability to travel a small portion of your time (expected less than 25% of your time, to attend a few events or meetings per year), with enough notice as to organise your personal life)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of English at a professional level, other regional languages are desirable
  • Ability to work with a remote team
  • Work time in Europe Time Zone
  • Right to work in the UK or EU
  • Being a respectful person and a honest one is a must in our company

Desirable

  • Regional languages a plus (Nordics, Baltics and Central Eastern European Countries)
  • Clear understanding of Wind O&M
  • Understanding of Artifical Intelligence Damage Detection
  • Experience with drone sales and business models
  • Experience with tenders
  • Experience of digital marketing and content generation
  • Ability to generate trust and understand people’s needs

Our first product is Dhalion, an industry leading aerial system for wind turbine inspection.
