Why This Role Is Important to Us

This position is responsible for delivering Spot’s revenue growth commitments, aligning and managing the aspects of Sales and BDR teams and processes that will drive our revenue growth. This role is pivotal in directly influencing the future of a company, including the GTM strategy and new verticals. As part of Spot’s leadership team, this role will directly report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with CRO to develop, lead and execute strategic Sales initiatives
  • Oversee Spot’s sales development and GTM sales strategy and objectives; developing a robust sales management processes – from pipeline to close
  • Pursue a deep understanding of Spot’s potential Partners and their needs to refine our ICP and GTM strategies over time
  • Collaborate across teams, including Engineering, Product, Marketing, Partner Success, Finance, and Operations, to communicate revenue strategies and adjust priorities according to feedback and company objectives
  • Own processes, metrics, and best practices that yield a high-performance sales team
  • Evangelize the product and personally help close large deals
  • Partner with Revenue leadership to develop annual sales strategies, plans, and tactics to drive revenue, expand the Partner base and maximize short- and long-term revenue potential from existing and future Partners
  • Drive Spot’s vertical/partner development strategy, increasing our market shares and improving our win rates across segments we touch
  • Establish and manage a sustainable, predictable, and scalable sales architecture
