Manager, Quality Engineering

FutureFit AI is looking for a Manager, Quality Engineering to join and help grow our engineering team. If you are passionate about development, quality, and lean processes and like to have fun, do it right, and get things done we would love to hear from you!

• Technology - You are passionate about test automation, process engineering, and ensuring things run like clockwork

• Mindset - You are naturally curious, spot details that others miss, and have a ‘trust but always verify’ mindset

• Reporting - You are data-driven and excel at creating and organizing data for reporting and monitoring

• CI/CD - You are a firm believer in the processes and test automation to achieve continuous delivery with confidence, quality, and zero downtime

• Compliance - You can create lean policies/processes that accelerate the team while protecting the company while ensuring compliance through effective controls and oversight

• Release - You are comfortable driving the release process to ensure we release when ready to ensure we hit our quality objectives

• People - You are a people person and comfortable leading both projects and people

• Communication - You are a great communicator and can confidently engage in both technical and business conversations

• Values - You are a good person who shares our values of excellence, transparency, and humanity

   

• Architecture - Microservices

• Front End - React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Storybook

• Back End - Node.js, Nest.js, Python, Flask, GraphQL, Postgres, MongoDB

• Cloud (AWS) - CloudFront, AppSync, Cognito, ECS, Fargate, RDS, Atlas, Redshift, S3, SQS, Elasticsearch, VPC, Lambda

• DevOps - GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarCloud, Cypress, Sentry

The role is primarily remote with the ability to work in person from our downtown Toronto office at 325 Front St W when you like. We like to meet in the office every couple weeks for team building, collaboration and solving complex problems that are best solved in person with a big whiteboard.
