Our modern and easy-to-use solution has helped hundreds of thousands of ordinary people save millions in legal fees they'd ordinarily spend on a lawyer. Legal Templates is tackling a multi-billion dollar global market by creating the highest quality and legally accurate contracts available to consumers.

 

We're not sitting around trying to achieve product/market fit and burning VC funding while expecting everyone to work ridiculous hours for low probability of future reward. We are looking for a creative and data-driven Content & SEO Associate to play a pivotal role in delivering Legal Template's content marketing and SEO strategy in the US. As a Content & SEO Associate, you'll play a critical role in the team's ability to execute on the company's broader SEO strategy and tactical roadmap quickly and effectively. You'll think like an owner and work closely with a cross functional team in rallying towards ambitious SEO goals. The outcome of your work will be hugely impactful on Legal Templates growth.

The ideal candidate is well-versed in content strategies, technical audits and SEO/CRO experimentation, with a proven track record of working with a team to grow SEO. You'll have hands-on experience with SEO and web analytics tools and are comfortable using data to guide your decision making.

The Content & SEO Associate is a full-time (contract-based) position reporting directly to our Global Head of SEO.

• Lead the creation and prioritization of the Content Calendar & SEO Roadmap, as well as seeking alignment and buy-in with internal stakeholders
• Work directly with our Marketing Director to set clear SEO goals, KPIs and requirements to measure what success looks like
• Work closely with researchers, copywriters, designers and engineers to drive projects from planning to execution, followed by post-implementation analysis and reporting
• Leverage content marketing/SEO tools to make data-driven decisions about our content and SEO strategy
• Optimize our site, landing pages, help pages and blog for both search engines and end users
• Scale and improve SEO workflows and processes, with a focus on automation and efficiency
• Keep on top of industry trends, best practices, and algorithm changes to inform SEO strategies and tactics, and identify new growth opportunities
• Periodically make changes to page-level links, content, and general configurations in Wordpress

 

• 3+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO, with a very strong grasp into current SEO best practices and strategies.
• You have a passion for SEO and continuously aim to grow your knowledge and comprehension of tactics and best practices on a weekly or daily basis.
• Strong experience working with “ticketing systems” and other SEO project management frameworks.
• Well-rounded in all aspects of SEO from content strategies to technical audits as well as SEO/CRO experimentation
• You have experience managing projects in cross-functional teams
• You are comfortable with documentation/briefing to communicate SEO strategies and technical SEO requirements.
• Hands-on experience with SEO and web analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console and SEMRush.
• Excellent written English including good spelling and grammar in addition to outstanding proof-reading skills
