About the role 

Due to our business growth, we are looking for a new People (HR) Process Manager to join our People Team. 

The role will maintain and improve the processes for employees, outsourced contractors and international workers. You will be responsible for auditing, reviewing, monitoring and setting up processes in the People department. You will liaise with other people and business departments to enhance and improve the efficiency and delivery of services. 

The successful candidate will also be part of a broader the wider People Team and will have the opportunity to be part of the regular weekly and monthly meetings and socials. 

What you'll do 

  • Create, develop and audit efficient processes for onboarding, induction, employment changes and offboarding across diverse working populations, employees, contractors, outsourced workers and international workers. Working with stakeholders across the business who need to contribute towards these processes, or require an output, to ensure they understand their responsibilities through the processes and that their needs are being met.
  • Create, maintain and audit efficient processes for reward, helping with salary banding and benchmarking data collection;
  • Create, maintain and audit efficient processes for talent review and recognition processes;
  • Create, maintain and audit efficient processes for absence management;
  • Create and maintain process documentation for audit and monitoring purposes, providing feedback to the appropriate people and teams on their consistencinof following the processes;
  • Help maintain records and data and perform quality checks for people systems and associated processes;
  • Build strong relationships with those teams responsible for delivering the processes (including People Operations, Recruitment, EUX, Facilities, etc.) to ensure they are kept up to date with any changes and provide feedback on how their teams are delivering against them.

About you

  • A background in HR/People Operations and experience with building operational HR/People processes;
  • A good understanding of HR/People processes and the roles and responsibilities that different teams have in delivering them; 
  • Great at problem-solving - not afraid to think outside the box to get a solution that works for UW;
  • Experience in a fast-paced, scale-up environment;
  • Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail;
  • Comfortable with using HRIS and/or Payroll Systems;
  • Experience in using Google Suite and/or Excel to manipulate and analyse data;
  • A willingness and genuine interest in learning;
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with a friendly and approachable attitude, and strong teamwork skills;
  • Excellent organisational, and time management skills and ability to prioritise own workload;
  • Ability to perform tasks under pressure and balance many tasks simultaneously;
  • Motivation to get stuck in with new projects;
  • Flexibility and adaptability – the responsibilities and priorities for this role may changeregularlys!
