PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The purpose of the Systems Analyst position is to support the Product Team in the effective management of data across constituent data platforms (CDP) with an emphasis on administration and development of marketing platforms and processes. Resource Development and Public Engagement business systems include constituent relations management (CRM), advocacy and fundraising marketing products, research, reporting analytics, and other related supporter engagement platforms.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support development of constituent data platform (CDP) architecture, centered on Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack, and lead enhancement of marketing platforms to enable effective marketing and engagement activities.
• Analyze complex business, marketing, and analytics problems, provide functional and technical leadership and optimal solutions to product team.
• Oversee fundraising data production and enhancements for advanced marketing segmentation, automation, and reporting.
• Gather and document business requirements, functional requirements, and use cases to enable effective reporting and audience segmentation by CDP stakeholders.
• Consult stakeholders and collaborate with development team to maintain, update, and add data flows and marketing products.
• Lead and perform quality assurance testing for CDP data.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts for enhancement projects.
• Engage with relevant vendors to coordinate maintenance and improvements to platforms and data flows.
• Provide CDP systems administration of marketing platforms.
• Provide data and analytics as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• Three to five years of experience managing data across systems for fundraising, sales operations or related field, ideally in a public interest or cause-related organization.
• Experience coordinating with stakeholders to manage highly complex system improvement projects from start to finish.
• Minimum three years’ experience with CDP administration and operational support, including understanding of the broader CDP application landscape such as, Salesforce, Engaging Networks, Hubspot, and Classy.
• Minimum three years experience writing queries using SQL.
• Advanced Excel skills: Pivot tables, formulas, macros, and conditional formatting, as well as other Business Intelligence tools for data analysis.
• Highly organized, excellent problem-solving skills, detail oriented, and self-directed.
• A passion and eagerness for working with both end users and data.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across departments and levels.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with fundraising at a nonprofit organization.
• Experience with agile methodology.

Exempt Boston Union F - Salary Range for Band is $58,600 - $84,970
