[Hiring] Senior Site Reliability Engineer @runZero

runZero is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help foster the growth of our engineering operations team and be a key contributor as we scale. The SRE role is responsible for designing, securing, operating, monitoring, and maintaining the cloud environments used to provide services to runZero customers and internal teams. This role enables the business to scale through automation, monitoring, and proactive problem solving.

• Investigate CloudWatch alarms related to infrastructure and application logs.
• Create and update Terraform configurations files to manage infrastructure.
• Update AWS StackSets to push changes into all sub-accounts.
• Assist engineering with product design and scale-related changes.
• Track out-of-compliance items and address them in our SOC 2 portal.
• Create and update Lambdas, deployment, and auto-scaling code.
• Create runbooks, document incidents, and share insights.
• Build processes and tools for new customer enablement.

• 5+ years of experience in a SRE or similar role
• AWS (S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudWatch), Linux diagnostics, PostgreSQL optimization, Bash, and one of Python or Ruby. (Cybersecurity / SaaS)
• Go programming language experience
• Able to manage competing urgent tasks, excellent written communication, willing to work with change control processes, open to peer feedback.
• AWS design, configuration, maintenance, and monitoring.
