Senior Cloud Software Engineer (AWS/Azure)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and systems on the AWS and Azure platforms. You will work closely with our team of engineers and developers to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications and systems on the AWS/Azure  platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Analyze and optimize system performance and identify and resolve defects
• Understand and adhere to security and compliance standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, Typescript or C#
• Experience with a wide range of AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS), Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), and AWS Lambda
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Functions
• Experience with deployment, scaling and management of the infrastructure using CloudFormation, Terraform, ARM Templates, Ansible and other Infrastructure as code tools
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipeline using services like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes and how they can be used on both AWS and Azure
• Understanding of networking, security and identity features on both platforms
• Knowledge of storage solutions such as Amazon S3, Amazon EBS, Amazon EFS, Azure Blob Storage, Azure File Storage, and Azure Queue Storage
• Experience with Serverless function such as AWS Lambda and Azure functions
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Infra as a code approach
• Strong understanding on Computer Networking and Cloud Infrastructure security. 
• Security certifications in Cloud or equivalents of CISSP 
• Experience with agile development methodologies
