What you will be doing:

Our client has created an Engineering Hub in Thessaloniki and you will be collaborating with local & international teams

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the creation of a state-of-the-art customer experience. You will work with a talented and distributed team in order to build and maintain the infrastructure and tools that support client’s applications.

The application being developed & supporrted is a large-scale web application built on a single-page architecture and using modern technologies to support the deployment of microservices to the AWS/EKS Cloud. This application brings together all relevant customer information from legacy CRM systems.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Configure Gitlab-based CI/CD pipelines
• Use Terraform and Pulumi to configure a variety of AWS resources, such as S3 buckets, EKS clusters, and other managed services
• Provide guidance and support to other Dev teams in using Gitlab to prepare their configurations and troubleshoot any issues they may encounter
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters using EKS to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our applications
• Implement and configure observability tools, such as Graylog/Elasticsearch, Grafana/Loki, Prometheus/Cortex, Jaeger/OpenTelemetry to monitor the health and performance of our systems

• Support developers and testers in DevOps topics
• Write technical documentation in English

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience as DevOps Engineer or SRE
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes & Cloud Platforms (AWS knowledge is a huge plus)

• Proficiency in Python and Bash
• Familiarity with Gitlab and the principles of CI/CD
• Understanding of observability tools and concepts, such as logging, monitoring, and tracing
• Familiarity with networking basics, such as DNS and TCP/IP

Any experience in the following will be highly desirable:

• Experience with Terraform or Pulumi for infrastructure as code
• Experience with Docker for packaging and deploying applications
