We are currently looking for a wonderful UX Designer to join our Lively team. We’re based in Leamington Spa but we are fully supportive of remote working and happy to enable whatever blend of home and office best empowers you and your work.

What Does a UX Designer Do at Lively?

We are looking for someone with the wisdom, research experience, and UX design skills to help champion the user and guide their experience of our games here at Lively. We highly value people skills and people who are great to work with, those who like to take responsibility and push for wonderful solutions, and those with a mind for elegance and simplicity.

We want to give you the chance to shine and ensure our games come alive in the hearts and minds of our players, while working closely with other disciplines to make sure creative dreams can become practical reality.

• Designs and helps implement UX flows and UI solutions.
• Designs and runs playtests and user interviews.
• Responds to and implements feedback from data analysis, reviews and playtests.
• Uses the right mix of skills, knowledge and wisdom to help the team pragmatically deliver elegant and joyful experiences for players.

• Communicates smoothly and clearly within the design team, with other disciplines and with clients and external developers.
• Works with other designers and whole team to ensure the game is delivering the correct experience for the audience and commercial intentions of the game.
• In the most wholesome way imaginable, loves what they do, and we can tell. (This isn’t a codeword for crunch. The day is over. Go home. So to speak...)

Requirements

Things we'd love to see from you:

• Appreciable experience in User Research and UX design. This is an important role, and we need to be confident that we are in safe hands.
• Experience on mobile or console f2p titles.
• Experience of working in Unity or Unreal.
• Be passionate, curious, motivated and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
• Have a fascinatingly broad palette of references and inspirations to draw from and educate us with.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to work well as a team player in a collaborative environment.
• Have a love of creating unforgettable, utterly loveable gaming experiences for the audience
